On December 15, 2019 China Brand Day, organized by China Media Group, was held in Beijing. On the day, a list of 2019 China 100 Brands and a list of 2019 Top 10 leading Brands were released. Weichai won 2019 China Top 10 Leading Brand award, the only enterprise in Shandong to gain such an honor.

Tan Xuguang, president of Weichai received the award and revealed to the public that his company had made new breakthroughs in hydraulic pressure engines.
