CW200 family is medium-speed marine diesel engine, adopting four strokes, in line configuration, water cooled system, supercharging system and inter-cooled technologies. It is independently designed, developed and manufactured by Weichai by absorbing advanced technology of its counterparts from both home and abroad. This family has advantages of compact structure, good reliability, high economic performance, easily operation and maintenance. They supply ideal power solutions for passenger ships, transport vessels, fishing boats and engineering vessels. They can also be used as auxiliary engines for various vessels or prime power for land Genset and other power equipments.

The series of engines has passed through the type approval test of China Classification Society and Register of Fishing Vessel of PRC, got ISO9001:2000 system certificate. It is an optimum power source for passenger liner, fishing ship, ro-ro vessel and medium-small Containership, and also used for generating set for ship.

The cylinder block adopts cast iron and lattice structure to enhance the strength of cylinder block; arrange observation window beside the engine body to replace connecting rod and connecting rod bearing more conveniently. The cylinder block adopts single cylinder head and reasonable design of cooling water chamber to cool the cylinder head more completely.
1. Lubrication system is designed by European top design team.
2. flow oil pump could support higher engine oil pssure (Rate point reaches 0.62MPa)
3. There is hand pss engine oil pump installed on engine body, which could p-lubricate the engine to reduce starting resistance
4. Bypass engine oil centrifugal filter improves quality of lubricating oil.
